North Orange County - Fullerton Neighborhood Group
The North Orange County Neighborhood Group meets on the second Monday of each month from 1-3 pm (except July and August.) Currently we meet at the clubhouse next to the pool at the Brea Glenbrook Club, 1821 E. Greenbiar Lane, Brea 92821.
From the corner of Imperial Highway/Associated Road, go on Associated Road north past the Mother's Market/Cinema/DSW Shoes/Brea Plaza Shopping Center to the first signal, and turn left on Greenbriar Lane. The road curves left into a business parking lot, but keep right and take the first right into the parking lot of Brea Glenbrook Club. The handicap ramp and accessible route are at the far end of the parking lot. The building is to the right of the pool.

Our group is small—a dozen or so members. We often have a program where one member shows a new technique (self-binding blankets) or idea featuring a trunk show (How to Use Pre-Printed fabric panels in unexpected ways). Once a year we take a field trip (Fashion Institute in Los Angeles or another sewing/fashion related activity). At our meetings, we do “show and tell” of things we have sewn for ourselves and for others; hand in community service items that we have created at home; seek advice in solving sewing problems; and share fabrics from our stash with each other when we clean our studios.
